As our ride went on it got wetter and foggier. We were wet to the bone and I was chilled through and through. This went one for the first 30 miles. By 10 AM, I needed to get out of the rain and needed a hot cup of coffee. I had hooked up with Joan Doornspleet and Alice Brink and we decided to stop at a restaurant. There were already a number of cyclists there and when we sat there lots more cyclists came in. Many order a full hot breakfast, but I had hot coffee and a couple of bits of Alice's breakfast as I could not eat much.
I headed out on my own as I felt I might cease up if I stayed too long. I was only 3 miles down the road when Harold Veldman, Stan Bakker, and Len Kooy the weight gain team pulled up along side me and said I should not be biking alone and told me they would pull me into camp. I was very thankful for their support and encouragement. We had a strong cross wind most of the day. It felt like 20 miles mph. We rode double Peloton to break the wind for one line. I was very thankful I managed to get into camp by 130 and averaged 13.5 mph. The temperature was 84 degrees when we got into camp. We are camped at the Limon High School. It is adequate with hot showers. The cooks had hot coffee, hot water hot dogs and chips out when we arrived at camp. Many thanks to the cooks.
Right now I am sitting in South Side Food and Grill which has free Wifi. I am with Barb, Joanne Van Vliet from California and Betty Bandstra Smithers BC enjoying a glass of wine. Life is good.
I may not bike tomorrow as I am not feeling 100%, and may not ride tomorrow. We shall see what I do.
Last stop on top of last hill. 12 mile downhill to Limon.
Allan Tanis in his Hazmat suit. He was well equipped to handle the rain.
Last view of mountains from our last SAG. Tomorrow we are in the prairies.

Claire, I am so proud of you for coming this far. As I've said before, you are my inspiration in many ways. I am continuing to pray for you as you continue on the journey.
